Position Overview:
We are seeking an engaging Lecturer to deliver a 4-hour recorded educational lecture on essential contract law concepts for businesses and self-employed individuals to understand in the American system. This lecture will be used as part of a structured educational program for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small business owners seeking to maintain and improve their financial and legal compliance skills for their individual field.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a clear, structured 4-hour lecture (with two scheduled 10-minute breaks) based on pre-developed course materials.
Present course content that covers:
Different types of financial statements, profit and loss statements, assets and liabilities etc.
Best practices for compiling statements
Uses for the financial statements
Practical tools, software recommendations, and compliance planning
Lecturer will record their presentation using a webcam or other audio and video device clearly and professionally that is clear and professional.
Follow all timing and content guidelines to ensure the lecture is ready for use as an asynchronous training module.
Ensure audio and video quality standards are met, either via in-house setup or a provided recording platform.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or JD preferred, but not required)
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting compliance, business accounting, or as a CPA.
Prior teaching or public speaking experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to present complex regulatory topics in an accessible and engaging way
Ability to record video and audio of the presented lecture.
Deliverables:
A single, four-hour recorded session, with scheduled breaks provided every hour. The lecturer represents and warrants that all materials, including but not limited to video, audio, voices, images, and any other content incorporated into the recording, are solely owned or lawfully controlled by the lecturer. The lecturer further affirms that they have full authority to grant Destination Business Academy the rights to use, distribute, and otherwise utilize the recording for its intended purposes.
