Position Overview:

We are seeking an engaging Lecturer to deliver a 4-hour recorded educational lecture on essential American contract law concepts that businesses and self-employed individuals should understand while engaging in business. This lecture will be used as part of a structured educational program for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small business owners seeking to maintain and improve their financial and legal compliance skills for their individual field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a clear, structured 4-hour lecture (with two scheduled 10-minute breaks) based on pre-developed course materials.

  • Present course content fluently, following a detailed instructor script that covers:

    • Introduction to American Contract Law Basics

    • Types of contracts, unilateral, bilateral, etc.

    • Offer, acceptance, and consideration, etc.

    • Estoppel and other exceptions to general rules.

    • Uniform Commercial Code, parol evidence rule, statute of frauds, etc.

  • Lecture will record their presentation using a webcam or other audio and video device clearly and professionally that is clear and professional.

  • Ensure audio and video quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree, LLM, or Juris Doctorate in Law, Business, or related field.

  • Entry Level or better are welcome to apply. Prior lecture or teaching experience is not necessary. Seeking candidates who possess knowledge in American Contract Law.

  • Prior teaching or public speaking experience not required, but is preferred.

  • Deep understanding of American Contract Law related to businesses and self-employed individuals

  • Ability to present complex regulatory topics in an accessible and engaging way

  • Ability to record video and audio of the presented lecture.

Deliverables:

  • A single, four-hour recorded session, with scheduled breaks provided every hour. The lecturer represents and warrants that all materials, including but not limited to video, audio, voices, images, and any other content incorporated into the recording, are solely owned or lawfully controlled by the lecturer. The lecturer further affirms that they have full authority to grant Destination Business Academy the rights to use, distribute, and otherwise utilize the recording for its intended purposes.
